Marshall is a small town located centrally in the heart of Missouri between Kansas City and St. Louis. This farming community is steeped in history from the charming Victorian homes to the site of the Civil War “Battle of Marshall.” As in times past, the Marshall Municipal Band still performs on the town square on Thursday evenings throughout the summer months.The greatest asset of our town lies within the people that call Marshall home. Marshall has a population just under 13,000 and is the county seat for Saline County, Missouri. The City of Marshall has the beautiful Indian Foothills Park, which consists of an 18 hole public golf course, swimming pool,18 basket disc golf course, basketball courts and tennis courts.
Marshall is also home to the Missouri Valley College, which has an enrollment of about 1,400 students.
